Our take
3.5/5Wallingford Family YMCA is a good option to consider for a child who wants an active birthday. Its weekend schedule distinguishes sports parties from sports-and-splash celebrations, giving families a useful choice of focus. Choose according to whether the birthday child wants sports alone or would enjoy adding a water element.
The timing helps narrow that choice: sports parties run from 11 AM to 1 PM, while the 2 PM to 4 PM window accommodates sports and splash. Both windows are offered on Saturdays and Sundays. Pick the format before settling the time with guests, since the morning and afternoon options serve different plans.
