Our take
3.5/5The playground and picnic shelter make this Montgomery park a good match for a birthday built around play and a shared meal. The small shelter accommodates approximately 30 people, a useful size reference when deciding whether your guest list fits. Its $50 all-day rental gives families flexibility in setting their celebration's schedule.
Advance planning is essential because a special event permit is required 20 days ahead. Baseball and softball facilities, along with batting cages, may interest a sports-minded group, but seasonal field-use restrictions affect those plans. Keep the playground and shelter central unless you've arranged the relevant sports access.
