Our take
3/5For a family organizing its own outdoor birthday, Medal of Honor Park has a pavilion rental option for small events, including children's parties. A reserved gathering place gives the celebration a base while leaving the family to decide how the day should run. This format suits parents who already have activities in mind.
Start with the City's park rental application; pavilion reservations are available through RecDesk. Confirm availability and current rates before settling the budget or sending invitations. Plan for weather as part of the decision, and work out your own celebration schedule around the reservation rather than expecting a hosted birthday program.
