Our take
3.5/5Escatawpa Hollow Park and Campground has enough variety for a birthday outing to follow the group's interests. A playground and nature trails give families options beyond the river beach, while picnicking can anchor the gathering. It suits parents who enjoy organizing an outdoor day and choosing which activities belong in it.
Pavilions and grills are first come, first served, so keep the plan flexible instead of making a particular shelter essential. Swimming deserves a separate supervision plan if you include it. Alcohol is prohibited in Mobile County parks, a rule to pass along to adults joining the celebration.
