Our take
3.5/5Village Grounds Café + Play on South Main Street in downtown Temple is a coffee shop with a Montessori-inspired play area for children up to age 8. That makes it a gentle setting for a toddler or preschool birthday where the adults would like good coffee while the kids play.
Party packages are put together for each event and can include decorations, balloon arches, cakes and favors, with pricing sent after you fill out the inquiry form. The café keeps short hours, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays and 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, so ask about party timing when you inquire.
