Our take
2/5Rocket City Dog Bar is a narrow birthday choice for a child whose interests center on dogs. The Huntsville venue combines an off-leash dog park with a taproom, so the setting needs to suit the whole invited group. A small family gathering is easier to plan around that focus than a broad children's guest list.
Children under 12 must have an adult with them at all times, and adults are responsible for everyone under 18 in their party. Build the adult headcount around those requirements. Tuesday through Thursday opening starts at 4 PM, which also shapes weekday plans.
