Our take
3/5The Princess Theatre in Decatur is an interesting choice for a family considering an auditorium setting for a child's birthday. The Shelton Auditorium rental gives you a specific space to discuss with the theater. It suits a celebration built around a program you intend to arrange, with the room itself forming part of the occasion.
Timing is the practical catch: rental dates cannot be reserved more than 90 days ahead. Families who prefer to secure a venue far in advance will need to work within that window. Contact the box office about your proposed activities and rental arrangements before making other commitments.
