Our take
3.5/5For a child who wants a game at the center of the birthday, Palmer Park has a useful advantage: soccer, baseball and football fields have hourly rental rates. A field costs $25 per hour without lights or $35 with lights. That gives parents a concrete starting point for planning the activity budget. The park also has softball facilities and a playground.
This format suits a group happy to spend its celebration playing together. Choose the sport before arranging the rental, and ask which field and time slot are available. Parents will need to organize the birthday around that reservation.
