Our take
3.5/5Lincoln-Bridgeforth Park in Athens has a $30-per-day pavilion rental that includes a kitchenette. For parents organizing their own birthday gathering, that is a useful combination of a modest rental cost and a practical amenity. I'd consider it for a celebration whose activities the family wants to arrange themselves.
Rentals are available April 1 through November 15, and the park stays open to the public during your booking. Plan around shared park use and make the pavilion the group's meeting point. Check the reservation calendar before settling the date with guests.
