Our take
3.5/5A $30 daily pavilion rental makes Swan Creek Park an appealing base for a birthday you organize yourself. There are three pavilions to choose from, with rentals available April 1 through November 15 through Athens Recreation Center. The daily arrangement gives parents flexibility in deciding when to gather within the rental terms.
The park stays open to the public, so plan for a celebration that shares the wider setting with other visitors. A pavilion reservation should guide where your group gathers. If your plans extend to a community event, a permit is required; discuss that distinction when reserving.
