Our take
3.5/5Puttshack in downtown Houston is a mini golf venue where the balls track every shot and keep score automatically, which gives competitive kids something to chase. Its kids' birthday party covers 10 to 18 guests, and you pick a date and a menu when booking.
Packages are listed from $25; check what that covers and the final total before you pay. Food is part of the format, with wings, burgers and shareable plates on the menu. The venue also runs a full bar and caters heavily to adult groups, so it suits older kids and mixed family parties better than a toddler crowd.
