Our take
3/5The Hive Art Gallery in Decatur is worth considering for a child who enjoys art and would appreciate a celebration in a gallery setting. Private event reservations sit alongside artist shows and creative workshops, giving the space a creative identity that could suit an art-centered gathering.
Treat this as a custom event inquiry: the listed uses do not establish a children's birthday program. Before choosing it, ask whether the gallery can accommodate your group and whether a workshop can form part of the reservation. Establish those arrangements before building the celebration around an art activity.
