Our take
3/5Ben Geren Golf Course is most relevant to a birthday child whose friends already share an interest in golf. The public course accommodates organized golf outings, giving parents a reason to discuss a group visit. Golf would need to be the activity the children actually want to spend the occasion doing.
Speak with the course about whether a children's group fits its outing arrangements before inviting guests. Establish the expected playing experience and adult involvement, then decide how to handle the celebration around the golf. A small group with similar enthusiasm is the clearest fit.
