How we rateIAMS Park is a dog park within Bryce Davis Park in Fayetteville, with separate areas for large and small dogs. Child age restrictions matter when planning a family visit: children eight and younger cannot enter the area where dogs run without leashes. Check the rules against the ages of everyone in your group before including the dog park in a child's birthday outing or arranging to meet other families there.

Our take
1.5/5IAMS Park is a narrow choice for a children's birthday because its main purpose is off-leash dog recreation. Within Bryce Davis Park, it has separate areas for large and small dogs. I would consider that setting only for a gathering whose plans center on dogs and whose children meet the entry rules.
Children eight and under cannot enter the off-leash area, and children ages 9 to 13 must have an adult with them. Those restrictions can rule it out for a group with younger siblings. Check every child's eligibility before making the dog area part of the celebration.
