Our take
3/5Walton Park and Recreation Center is a local option to consider for a birthday in Dothan, especially if you want to organize the celebration yourself. I would start with the city's reservation service and choose the party format around the space you can reserve. That keeps the venue choice tied to what your group actually needs.
Before sending invitations, call the center to discuss your plans, including where everyone would gather and how food would work. For parents comfortable handling the arrangements, a direct conversation is the most useful first step.
