Our take
4/5Doug Tew Therapeutic Recreation Center has several ways to shape an active birthday, including a playground, gymnasium and five ball fields. The picnic pavilion gives parents a potential gathering point alongside those activity spaces. For a group with a shared interest in play or sports, that combination is a strong starting point.
Choose one main activity and ask the center about group access to the relevant facilities. There is also a pool, but swimming should be arranged specifically before it becomes part of the invitation. Plan supervision around the spaces your group will actually use.
