Bring Your Cake & Skate and ProSkate allow outside cake or cupcakes and require a $100 nonrefundable deposit. Our take
3/5Texas Skatium in Garland sells skating parties at several levels. The public-area table packages at $199 and $229 plus tax let the group skate as long as it likes during the session, with a reserved table for 90 minutes or two hours. Private party rooms run $399 to $599, two of them with glow features, and renting the whole building costs $600 or $800.
The rules are strict and worth reading before booking. Deposits of $100 or $200 are non-refundable and cannot be transferred, outside drinks are never allowed, and the cheaper packages allow only cake or cupcakes. A server takes food orders in most packages, though there is no party host, and every guest needs a waiver.
