Our take
3.5/5Hytop's community center suits a birthday where the family wants to set its own schedule. Rentals cover the whole day, which gives you room to plan activities and a separate cake break. The center costs $75, while renting the center together with the pavilion costs $115. That makes the choice between the two spaces worth considering early.
Reservations are first come, first served. Budget for the deposit as well as the rental, and pay attention to the cancellation rule: canceling within 30 days forfeits the deposit. Alcohol is prohibited, a useful restriction to settle before inviting the extended family.
