Our take
3/5An animal sanctuary visit gives a birthday outing at The Farm at Oatland North a clear focus. On St. Simons Island, this is an appealing direction for a child whose main wish is to spend part of their birthday visiting animals. The outing itself can be the occasion's central activity.
Plan around the Sunday open house or arrange an appointment by email. That visiting format makes timing the first practical decision for a birthday group. Keep the celebration centered on the sanctuary visit, and discuss your proposed group and date with the farm before organizing the rest of the day.
