Our take
3/5Limestone Springs Country Club in Oneonta lists birthday event bookings in a golf course and clubhouse setting. That combination is most appealing when golf is part of the birthday child's interest or the family wants a clubhouse-centered celebration. I'd choose the event format around that preference before deciding how much of the day should involve golf.
Discuss the children's group with the club and agree on what the booking will include. Treat course access and the clubhouse gathering as separate planning questions so the invitation accurately describes what guests will do.
