Our take
3/5The pavilion at Leeds Sports Complex gives families a reservable base for a birthday gathering. Family use is explicitly included in the rental offer, which makes this a sensible starting point for parents who want to organize the celebration themselves. I'd approach it as a pavilion gathering with a plan for what the children will do.
Contact City of Leeds Parks and Recreation about the pavilion and any proposed group activities. If ballfield use is part of your idea, discuss that separately before building the invitations around a sports party.
