Our take
3/5The Evelyn Burrow Museum in Hanceville is an appealing birthday outing for a child drawn to objects and how they are made. More than 5,000 objects, primarily porcelain, pottery, glass and bronze, give the visit a distinctive focus. I would choose it for a group that enjoys examining details and sharing what catches their eye.
Keep the visit at the center of the plan and discuss group arrangements with the museum before setting a schedule. Parents could suggest looking for a favorite material or object as a simple way to engage the children. That would be an activity you organize yourselves.
