Our take
3.5/5For a birthday built around games, Jim Joiner Recreation Center gives families several ways to keep the group moving. Basketball and volleyball suit children who enjoy playing together, while the playground offers another focus for a less structured outing. Baseball, softball, and batting cages add appeal for a child with a particular sports interest.
The strongest fit is a family that wants to shape its own celebration around an activity the birthday child already enjoys. Choose that activity first, then ask the center about group access and arrangements. The walking and running trails could suit a gentler gathering.
