Our take
4/5Gym South gives an active birthday a useful rhythm: the 90-minute Gym-Tastic or Ninja option divides the time into an hour of play and half an hour in the party room. Paper goods, lemonade and favor bags take a few preparation jobs off the parent's list.
The $225 starting price needs careful budgeting because coach fees are additional, at $30 or $45 per coach. Each child beyond 10 adds $5. There is also a two-hour option starting at $275 plus those fees. The format suits families who want play time followed by a separate birthday gathering.
