Our take
4/5For a child interested in animals, Bear Hollow Zoo gives the birthday a clear focal point: an educational program with three ambassador animals. The $135 package also includes a personalized map and two hours in the Zoo Operations Building. Having a room and a defined activity together makes this a strong option for families who want some structure.
Keep the guest list within the 30-participant maximum, counting the whole group when planning invitations. The biggest calendar restriction is firm: parties are not offered in June or July. Outside those months, the combination of animal education and room time has considerable birthday appeal.
