Our take
4/5A choice of Train Depot or Planetarium birthday packages gives this Albany heritage center a distinctive starting point for a celebration. Both include a party host for two hours and a dinosaur-themed birthday cake. Those inclusions take two substantial jobs off a parent's list and give the gathering a theme to build around.
The extra 30 minutes before and after for setup and breakdown is particularly useful when you are bringing party supplies. Train Depot packages cost less than Planetarium packages, and members pay less for either option. A deposit is required; schedule through the Education Department.
